In line with the theme of ‘movement’, Amman Design Week 2017 is going beyond conventional design exhibitions and workshops by programming mobile experiences around the city. For a more bespoke experience, visitors will be going on trails by bus, car or on foot, accompanied by industry professionals and experts in their field, who will be providing customized in-depth explorations and insight into spaces and activities around the city.

Focused on showcasing design in daily life, the interactive tours will get people engaged and better acquainted with the city. By delving into the heart of Amman and embarking on curated trails, visitors will gain unique insight into diverse fields including typography and signage, local handicraft production, food and agriculture, architecture and urbanism, the material process of design, and cultural heritage.
