Amman Design Week presents a series of pop-up food venues curated by Namliyeh that highlight the bond between food and design.

Food+Design by NamliyehNamliyeh was founded in 2012 by architects Manal Abushmais and Aya Shaban. With great passion for ecology, design and hand crafting, they experiment with ingredients found in the wild along hiking trails and around the city. Using wild herbs, flowers, and fruits, they produce a range of ethical products inspired by the landscape.

Amman Eats at the Jordan MuseumNamliyeh’s food program, entitled Amman Eats, is a celebration of the nostalgia of sociable public spaces, inviting visitors to gather around a dining table with friends, family and even strangers.

Amman Eats at Raghadan Tourist TerminalWith a unique theme and approach for each space, explore what Namliyeh has to offer at the Hangar Exhibition, the MakerSpace, and the Crafts District during the week.

Namliyeh will also be hosting a one-of-a-kind tea party at their own kitchen and tasting room, where you can learn about fruit varieties in Jordan, wild herbal infusions, and the less known traditional farming methods.
