About the Exhibition

In partnership with Zikra Initiative and under the supervision of Husam Manasrah, a collection of patchwork by women from Jdeta Village will be exhibited at Fann wa Chai.  The Arabic term JODL has been long used as the common word for the traditional sitting mat in Palestine and Jordan, made from patches of fabric and old clothes, forming a variety of colors, designs and sizes commensurate with its use. The opening will be on the 6th of October, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm.
