A group of women from Petra who work at the floor looms will show visitors how recycled yarn is used. Opening 7 October, 6 pm.

About Yarns

Yarns is a Jordanian grassroots initiative established in 2017 to preserve the heritage of the art of embroidery and weaving for future generations. It is run by women for women, and works with artisans in Amman and Petra. Yarns strives to give the traditional patterns and colors a modern and updated look yet keeping its tribal soul.
